Vetica has developed a comprehensive new branding including website and new product design concept for Netstal Maschinen AG.
Netstal has worked closely with Vetica over the last 12 months to completely redesign its corporate image. Peter Wirz, CEO of Vetica Group AG, explains: “Netstal’s previous corporate identity no longer corresponded to the high-performance claim. Our main task was to turn Netstal’s innovative strength inside out, to modernise the entire image and to significantly improve Netstal’s positioning in the highly competitive international market for injection moulding machines.”
New logo
A central focus of the new branding was the creation of a new logo. The challenge was to appear more modern without losing the characteristics of the existing Netstal logo.
The diamond shape, a pioneering design element of the logo, was retained but opened to the left and right. The open sides convey a clear message: “Netstal overcomes boundaries and is ready for the future.”
New CI/CD
The new corporate identity was applied to all customer touchpoints with a modernised uniform colour scheme, new typography and imagery.
This process included products, website, brochures, signage, booth design and many other elements. To ensure the new branding would be used consistent internationally, Vetica implemented the brand management tool “Frontify“, which provides a complete digital CI/CD system and offers brand implementation templates of all kinds.
New website
To enhance the brand’s customer experience online, Netstal’s website underwent a major overhaul, in design and interactive structure.
The modernised clear “scrollytelling” concept helps the website users to find the content they are really looking for. This includes, a simplified product finder “Selector” which works based on the variety of application specifications in the different product fields PET, CAP, PAC and MED.
New product design
Netstal’s injection moulding machines are known globally for their high-quality standards in terms of innovation, performance and added value.
This technological leadership should also be reflected in the design of the machines. Vetica’s industrial design team has developed various concepts to optimise the product design for the different machine lines. The first newly designed Netstal machine will be presented to the general public at this year’s «Fakuma» in October 2023 in Friedrichshafen.
The collaboration with Vetica has been a great journey. Together we developed and modernised the Netstal brand as a global company with a proud engineering heritage. The new look reflects the purpose of our brand and the globally recognised heritage of “the best injection moulding machine”. Vetica's strong strategic and creative thinking has shaped an identity that does both: honours our past and points the way to the future.
