Vetica held a kickoff meeting with the core members of Spirit Scientific to define its corporate brand identity. The reposition, Precision Regenerative Medicine Brand, highlights its unique advantage in the regenerative medicine industry, and expands its influence in the global market with the resources and scale of the corporate. Clear differentiation and definition of the identity and relationship of its laboratory (SSLab), technologies, and products have also been made. The lab’s role in brand communication is to strengthen professionalism and trust in medicals professionals.

Regarding the product services that directly engage with the target audience, a clear distinction needs to be made from the technology. Based on the company’s core technology and its exploration in diverse biological materials, the name “Bio Material Lyophilized Technology” (BMLT) was proposed. On the other hand, product services will be referred to as lyophilized treatment, applicable to different biological materials such as Platelet Lyophilized Treatment (PLT) and Exosome Lyophilized Treatment (XLT), with endless scalability.

Through brand architecture strategy, defining the relations between the company’s various entities can create a consistent brand experience across all channels, allowing consumers to associate various offerings with a brand they know and trust.

The Dynamics of a New Brand Identity System

The original Spirit Scientific symbol was derived from its core technology, combining double “S” with red and blue lines representing blood vessels. In line with the redefined technology (BMLT) and its commitment to exploring the future of regenerative medicine for all human beings, Vetica created a new identity that shines with vitality and possibilities.

The new brand identity merges the double “S” into one to capture the duality of the brand: The hidden “S” in the negative space symbolizes the company’s focus on the invisible yet essential spirit of life, while the outer “S” emphasizes its expertise in precision regenerative medicine. The symbol is symmetrical and balanced, simultaneously at rest and in motion, echoing the brand’s mission to “bring out the best in you” through regeneration.

A serif typeface was chosen for the logotype to show the brand’s reliable, safe, and professional qualities. The new color palette combines deep blue and silver gray to reinforce Spirit Scientific as an authoritative voice in precision regenerative medicine. Deep blue signifies the infinite potential for innovation and future growth, while silver gray conveys the seriousness and rigor of a scientific approach.

The brand design system provided by Vetica also includes typeface, color palette and imagery, as well as stationery and other brand assets. All these elements work harmoniously to create a consistent and memorable brand image that centers around innovation, science and reliability across all brand touchpoints.
