Vetica TAIPEI partnered with Jason Craft, an experienced manufacturer of home décor and home fragrance products, to reimagine its product brand, Earnest Living. At the core of Earnest Living lies a commitment to purposeful living and finding genuine strength in the ordinary. As the brand expands its global presence, primarily through e-commerce, imagery plays a crucial role in establishing a strong brand identity in today’s visually driven world.

In the world of design, imagery is one of the most powerful tools for communication. It not only visually expresses creativity but also serves as a symbol that conveys information and knowledge. When applied to brand design, imagery goes beyond aesthetics; it becomes a strategic tool that communicates core brand values and tells compelling stories. Thoughtfully crafted imagery can transform a brand from one of many options into the only choice in consumers’ mind, creating a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints and fostering long-term brand loyalty.

Imagery comes in various forms—hand-drawn illustrations, digital paintings, symbolic images, photo composites, and typography—each serving different purposes. In recent years, AI image generation has been challenging traditional perceptions of art and creativity. Color, Symbol, and Nature: An Elegant Touch

The Vetica TAIPEI team used hand-drawn techniques to retain emotional depth and an artisanal touch, blending them with AI image generation technology to build a unique image library for Earnest Living. The themes revolve around Elegant Nature, Elegance in Everyday Living, and Timeless Elegance. These images seamlessly integrate the brand’s colors and natural elements, reflecting its products and services.

The design process began with Earnest Living’s core values of elegance and the breathing experience. The design team chose an earthy beige as the brand’s base color, inspired by the natural airiness that defines Earnest Living. Secondary colors like healing yellow, wellness gray, relieved purple, natural green, comfortable blue, and aesthetic pink were added to align with the brand’s diverse range of aromatherapy products. Drawing from elements such as lavender, soft sand, flowers, ocean waves, and seashells, the team developed a unique brand imagery library. Throughout the process, the designers ensured each image captured the brand’s style while being culturally relevant and meaningful to the audience. By combining the brand symbol with emotionally resonant natural elements, Vetica TAIPEI crafted bespoke images that reflect the brand’s earnest approach to living, making every breath a healthy and healing experience.

Vetica TAIPEI developed comprehensive guidelines for using these images across various media, including product packaging, print ads, social media, outdoor advertising, and the website.
