Microlife’s infrared thermometer for measuring body and object temperature is one of this year’s winners of the Red Dot Design Award. Its ergonomic design enables simple, gentle and precise measurement without touching the patient. It combines many advantages for innovative and safe home diagnostics: highest accuracy, quality and reliability. The Silent Glow TM technology with display color change provides direct information about the measured temperature. The large illuminated display allows a comfortable measurement without disturbing the sleep of a child. With the data memory it is possible to monitor temperature changes over a certain period of time and to monitor trends. Statement of the jury: “The Microlife NC 200 thermometer convinces with its simple operation, which offers a clear user guidance and integrates itself very harmoniously into the overall shape.” This year the Red Dot – Product Design Council received 6,300 entries from 59 countries, more than ever before. All submitted products were individually evaluated by an independent and international jury of experts.
